Application process
There are three available methods for Lao citizens and foreign passports living in Laos to apply for a visa to Cambodia.
Applying for an eVisa from Laos? Here is a step-by-step guide:
- Fill in a secure online eVisa form
- Upload your Lao passport data page and a 4*6cm photo.
- Confirm and pay the e-Visa fee (75 USD ~ 1361777 LAK)
- Get your eVisa approval in 3-5 business days (The earliest is 18:00 PM, Laos local time on 14 May 2024).
- Present your eVisa certificate at the immigration checking point.
If you are in Laos and have questions about Cambodia visas, contact the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Vientiane. If you are currently outside of Laos, contact your nearest Cambodian Embassy or Consulate. In general, a visa application at the embassy of Cambodia in Laos may include the following documents:
- Actual (Original) Lao passport.
- Visa application form with one (1) attached 2x2 passport photo.
- Scan of Lao passport bio-page.
- Visa fee of $30 USD or ~ 544711 Kip(LAK) in form of Money Order.
Lao nationals are eligible for the 30-day visa-on-arrival program:
- Tourist visas: $30 USD ~ 544711 Kip(LAK)
- Business visas: $35 USD ~ 635496 Kip(LAK)
